We live in an octadecagon house with 18 sides and a full walk-out basement where I was fortunate to claim a 523-square-foot oddly shaped train room, seen below.
The straight interior wall is 43' long, and the segmented exterior wall runs 59'. Like all rooms in the basement, this one is completely finished.
The three windows measure 18" x 72" and are 7' above the floor, so they won't interfere with the layout. Nevertheless, I plan to install blinds to cut glare during operating sessions.
